Community and Families

The Somerville is a space for the whole community. As well as activities for children and young people, the centre offers activities for families and older residents to encourage socialising and learning new skills. Use the links here to discover more about our community services.

Your Space

The Somerville is at the heart of the community in Lewisham and Southwark, providing a safe space for play, learning, socialising and developing new skills. From young children to our senior residents – there is something for everyone to get involved in.

Children and young people

Children and young people can use the Somerville adventure playground and be part of a wide range of year-round activities for free. Under the umbrella of youth and play provision the Somerville runs fun, educational sessions both in and out of school term time.
