
Lead Youth Worker (Part Time, 1yr Fixed Term)
£32,000 pro rata | New Cross
We are seeking a dynamic Lead Youth Worker to lead the day-to-day running of our Youth Provision. The Lead Youth Worker will play a key role in delivering high-quality youth work across Somerville’s provision, working with children and young people of different ages while taking particular leadership responsibility for our work with our older young people, aged 14 and above.
A core part of the role will be leading Somerville’s approach to youth voice, engagement and impact. The Lead Youth Worker will ensure young people are actively shaping the programme, influencing decisions and helping us understand and evidence the difference our work makes.
We’re looking for: Lead Youth Worker (Part Time, 22.5 hours per week, 1yr Fixed Term)
Plus a 5% employers pension contribution.
This contract is a fixed term of 1 year, but may be extended depending on performance and securing of further funding.
The post holder will be required to work all School Holidays.
An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.
