
Sessional Youth Worker (Part Time, 1 yr fixed term)
£16 per hour | New Cross
The Sessional Youth Worker will support the delivery of safe, engaging and high-quality youth work at Somerville. They will build positive relationships with children and young people, support activities, contribute to a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, and help young people feel safe, listened to and valued.
The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with young people in a busy, informal community setting and can bring warmth, energy, reliability and clear boundaries to the work.
We’re looking for: Sessional Youth Worker P/T £16 per hour, 17 hours per week.
Plus a 5% employers pension contribution.
This post is fixed term for 1 year subject to performance and securing further funding.
The post holder will be required to work all School Holidays.
An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.
