Help us to keep Somerville open

Our playground and youth centre is open – free of charge – to all local children and young people. Being free has been core to our vision since the first adventure playground opened in 1971. However, as we no longer receive any direct council or government funding, we need your help to keep us going.

Become a Friend of the Somerville

The Somerville is a registered charity. Become a Friend of the Somerville by donating as little as £3 a month to directly benefit the community members who use the centre. All contributions will be gratefully acknowledged and are tax deductible.

Family donation

It costs us £120 per child per year to offer all our services and activities. If you have registered your child to attend, we hope they enjoy our facilities for many years to come.  For families and supporters who are able, we ask that you consider making a regular donation to help us keep Somerville open. For £10 per month, you can cover the cost of one child for a whole year. Thank you for your support!
